Mona Shaaban

Dr. Shaaban is an Associate Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt. She received her Ph.D. in Mansoura University, Egypt through a joint scholarship with University of Wisconsin Madison, USA.  Moreover, Dr. Shaaban got her MSc degrees in Microbiology and Immunology Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt. She has 40 publications in international Journals and is serving as a reviewer at impacted journals as PLOS one, scientific reports, Frontiers in Microbiology and Microbiology Research International and other Journals. Dr. Shaaban main research interests are quorum sensing and microbial virulence factors, quorum sensing inhibition as an antipathogenic approach to eliminate bacterial virulence and toxins, microbial resistance and development of nanoparticles to compete for bacterial resistance and virulence. https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=pjW9veIAAAAJ&hl=ar
