Mona Shaaban
Dr. Mona Shaaban received her PhD at Mansoura University/Egypt through a joint scholarship with the University of Wisconsin Madison, USA. Currently, she is working as an associate professor in the Microbiology and Immunology Department, Mansoura University, Egypt. She has more than 40 publications in international journals. She is interested in the study of bacterial virulence and resistance. She is also working on the inhibition of quorum sensing as an antipathogenic approach to counter bacterial resistance and virulence. She is a reviewer of PLOS One, scientific reports, Frontiers in Microbiology, Microbial Pathogenesis, Microbiology Research International, and other impacted journals. She is also an editor of perpetual journals.
