Dr. Usama Ahmad holds a specialization in Pharmaceutics from Amity University, Lucknow, India. He received his Ph.D. degree from Integral University on the work titled ‘Development and evaluation of silymarin nanoformulation for hepatic carcinoma’. Currently, he’s working as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Faculty of Pharmacy, Integral University. He has been teaching to Pharm.D, B.Pharm and M.Pharm students and conducting research in novel drug delivery domain. In 2013-2014 he worked on a research project funded by SERB-DST, Government of India. He has rich publication records with more than thirteen original articles published in reputed journals, one book chapter with McGraw Hill Publishers and a number of scientific articles published in ‘Ingredients South Asia Magazine’ and ‘QualPharma Magazine’. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, Commonwealth Pharmacist Association and British Society for Nanomedicine. Dr. Ahmad’s research focus is on the development of nanoformulations to facilitate the delivery of drugs that aims to provide practical solutions to current healthcare problems.
