Purpose: The aim of this chapter is to describe a one-stage technique called immediate dentoalveolar restoration (IDR), which uses an autogenous bone graft harvested from maxillary tuberosity to restore bone defects in compromised alveolar sockets and to achieve soft tissue stability over time.
