Abdurrahman Garba

Dr. A. Garba was born on Wednesday 27th September, 1972 in Dutsin-ma Local Government Area of Katsina State, Nigeria. He started his formal education at Galadima primary school in Malumfashi Local Government of the state. He then moves to Government College Katsina for his secondary school education. The author then pursued his degree at the famous Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in Kaduna state, and graduated with BSc (ED) Hons in chemistry in 2000. After graduation, he worked with Katsina state ministry of education where he was posted to Government Girls Secondary School Jibia to teach chemistry. From there he joined the Federal ministry of education where he was posted to Federal Government Girls College Gusau, then to Federal Government College Birnin Yauri and recently to Federal Government Girls College Bakori in Katsina state as chemistry teacher. Mr. Garba attended the school of postgraduate studies at Bayero University Kano, where he graduated with a master\'s degree in analytical chemistry. He was then admitted into the Ph.D. program in 2012 at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. During this time, he was a fulltime researcher and was given a research grant (GIPS) sponsored by the office for research, innovation, commercialization and consultancy of the University. He authored and as well co-authored 10 papers in the area of physical separation, specifically in adsorption of liquid and gaseous contaminants. He is currently an active member of Institute of chartered chemist of Nigeria (ICCON) and chemical society of Nigeria (CSN).
