Paul Oppong Kwabena Opk
OPPONG PAUL KWABENA affectionately called OPK in the academic arena hails from Fereso - Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. OPK is the first among his siblings to complete University and further for master\'s and a PhD degree in Agricultural Engineering with specifics in Robotics, Renewable Energy and Climate Change Issues. Oppong has attended more than thirty different academic conferences around the world of which he has won eighteen Gold Prizes (18), a Silver and a Bronze. Oppong received the Award of attending the 2017 December Conference on Creative Engineering Design (CED) which was held in Yamaguchi University – Japan. Oppong is currently a Lecturer and research associate working in the Digital Agriculture and smart Farming Techniques at the department of Agricultural Engineering, Ho Technical University - Ghana. He is enthusiastic about conducting interdisciplinary research centered on data fusion, IoT and machine learning. Oppong\'s current research focuses on applying innovative models and technologies (JDL and Mivar with multispectral / hyperspectral imaging), automation (UAVs), and artificial intelligence (machine learning and deep learning algorithms) in agriculture to facilitate the digital revolution in agriculture production.
