Raquel Rodríguez Solana is a graduate in Chemistry, and a PhD degree holder within the Official Postgraduate Program in Agrifood Science and Technology, both at University of Vigo. She spent five years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Plant Biotechnology of University of Algarve with a grant (SFRH/BPD/103086/2014) from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. Currently, she has a postdoctoral contract (IJC2018-036207-I) of Juan de la Cierva programs from the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in the The Andalusian Institute of Agricultural and Fisheries Research and Training (IFAPA). Her main research topics include Spirit/Liqueur Chemistry, Plant/Plant products phenolic, mineral and volatile composition, antioxidant capacity and enzyme inhibition. She is author/coauthor of 25 refereed papers in International Scientific Journals, two book chapters, and 16 International Conferences. She has participated in the development of 3 competitive research projects, 1 project of private Company, and 1 cross-border Project (POCTEP).
