Sarwan Kumar is working as Senior Entomologist (Associate Professor) at Punjab Agricultural University, India. He has more than 15 years of work experience on host plant resistance to insect pests with particular reference to Brassica crops. He has worked as Visiting Academic at The University of Queensland, Australia. His research interests include pest management on oilseed Brassica, peanuts, sunflower, sesame and flaxseed with focus on the development of sustainable pest management solutions such as host plant resistance. More than 15 years of experience on host plant resistance to insect pests. Published 42 research papers, 4 book chapters, 21 abstracts and teaching manuals besides teaching courses in entomology.
