Dr Ifeoluwapo Oluwaseun Amao works as a Chief Research Officer at the National Horticultural Research Institute, Ibadan Nigeria. She has been involved in technology and knowledge transfer in aspects of agricultural economics such as economics of production, record keeping and marketing of horticultural crops as well as consumption studies. Her research interests include welfare and development economics, social protection issues, marketing and impact evaluation studies. Ifeoluwapo started her career as an agricultural economist when she obtained a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2005. Thereafter, in 2014, she obtained a Phd degree in the same course and university. However, in year 2001, she had Bachelor of Technology degree in Agronomy from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. She became a member of the African Growth and Development Policy (AGRODEP) Modeling Consortium in July, 2015. She was a recipient of the Netherlands Fellowship Award in 2012 where she participated in a short course on Market access for sustainable development.
