Riccardo Bernardini

Riccardo Bernardini received the "Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica" degree from the University of Padova in 1990. He spent the last year of his Ph.D. at formerly AT&T Bell Labs (Murray Hill) working with prof. Jelena Kovačević on filterbanks. Now he is an Aggregate Professor in the DPIA at the University of Udine. He worked in the areas of multidimensional signal processing, wavelets, filter banks, multimedia coding, robust transmission, bio-engineering, chaotic systems, P2P streaming and some security-related areas such as random number generation, physical unclonable functions and embedding random permutations on chips. He has been involved in tenths of projects, from regional ones up to European-level ones, sometimes as partner sometimes as principal investigator/coordinator.
