Laura Righetti works at the Department of Food and Drug, University of Parma (Italy), as a Post-Doctoral research scientist. She completed her international PhD in food Science at the University of Parma in March 2017. Her doctoral research aimed to ensure safety, authenticity and quality of cereals, using advanced analytical techniques, such high resolution mass spectrometry and Ion mobility mass spectrometry. Currently, her research activity mainly involves untargeted metabolomics and chemometrics to investigate several food-related issues, with a particular focus on cereal safety.
