D. degrees electronic engineering from the Kyungpook National University, Taegu, Korea, in 1988, 1992, and 1998, respectively. He is currently a faculty at Department of Computer Control Engineering, Uiduk University, Kyungju, Korea. His current research interests include intelligent control using neural networks, fuzzy logic, and genetic algorithm, and applications of these tools to real systems.
