Matheus Poletto

Matheus Poletto is professor and researcher at Universidade de Caxias do Sul. He is an expert in composite science, working with thermoplastic composites and cellulosic materials. He has published over 80 scientific articles and conference papers and several book chapters. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Universidade de Caxias do Sul, Brazil, and his PhD in Materials Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Professor Poletto currently works with cellulosic and lignocellulosic materials, studying the effect of fiber composition on the thermal and mechanical properties of polymer composite materials. He is also member of the Polymer Laboratory Research Group at Universidade de Caxias do Sul.
