Anna Boczkowska

Professor Anna Boczkowska graduated from the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology in 1989. She received her PhD degree in 2000, DSc degree in 2011 and full professor title in 2018. Since 2022, she is a Dean of the Faculty. Her scientific interest is mostly related to the processing and study of polymer matrix composites and nanocomposites microstructure and properties. She has industrial background of 30 years in the development and application of composite materials. She gathered her scientific experience working in over 40 national and international research projects. She is an author or co-author of over 200 publications in JCR journals, 3 monographs, chapters in 10 books, scientific editor of 2 books, co-author of 5 PL patents and 1 EU patent, over 100 conference presentations. She is a member of many international and national associations and scientific committees e.g. the American Chemical Society (ACS), American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), International Society of Optical Engineering (SPIE), Scientific Committee for Materials Engineering and Metallurgy of Polish Academy of Science, Polish Claster of Composites Technology, and many others.
