Shigehito Yamada
Dr. Shigehito Yamada, MD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Kyoto University in 1998. He started his career as a Medical Doctor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and developed an active interest in human embryology, in 1995, when he was a medical student. Dr. Yamada continued his work and received his PhD in 2006 at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. His thesis dealt with making tutorial software for clinical embryology. He then took the role of Assistant Professor of Congenital Anomaly Research Center, Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine, and also became the Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Developmental Biology, NHLBI/NIH, in 2006. He has been the Associate Professor of the Congenital Anomaly Research Center, Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine since 2008.
