Musa Jega Ibrahim
Dr. Musa Jega Ibrahim is currently a Senior Economist at the Islamic Development Bank Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He started his career in 1992 as a Lecturer in Economics at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, the same university where he studied and obtained BSc and MSc degrees in Economics. Between 2001 and 2007, Dr. Musa Jega was on fellowship study in the United Kingdom, during which he obtained another master’s degree in Economics (University of Edinburgh) and a doctorate degree (University of Strathclyde). He also served as a tutor (Associate Lecturer) and Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde. Dr. Musa Jega has published professional articles and contributed to book chapters. His main research interests are macroeconomics, economic growth and sustainable development.
