Metin Aydin
Metin Aydin received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Turkey, in 1993 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1997 and 2004 respectively all in Electrical Engineering. He worked at Wisconsin Electrical Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC) in Madison, WI for 8 years and Caterpillar Inc. R&D in Peoria, IL for 2 years and worked on various projects related to electric motor design and control. He is presently working as a faculty member at the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey. His research interests include both conventional and unconventional electrical machine design and control.
