The International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems sees its IF grow

16 June 2013

The International journal of Advanced Robotic Systems (IJARS), currently in its 10th consecutive year and volume, has seen its ISI Impact Factor grow to 0,821 in June 2013. Up to this date, IJARS remains the only Open Access journal in the field of Robotics to be indexed by ISI Thomson Reuters.

In 2012 and 2013, IJARS lived through key developments in its structure, introducing topics related to sub-areas of robotics managed by subject-related Editorial Boards and Topic Editors. By strengthening its scientific impact and catching the attention of leading roboticists exploiting established research fields, as well as emerging trends and cross- discipline applications, the journal placed itself on the forefront of Robotics research.

As a result of IJARS's team efforts in advancing the journal's relevance among Robotics communities, IJARS has seen its Impact Factor grow in the past three years from 0.326 to 0.375, reaching 0.821 in June 2013.

IJARS's team will keep working hard to always raise the stakes in terms of quality output and impact of its journal, supporting Robotics professionals' need for a high standard Open Access publication.
