Dr. Hamid Yaghoubi is director of Iran Maglev Technology (IMT). He became as the Iran top researcher in 2010. In this regard, he received the gold medal, honor letter and award from Iranian president, Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology and Iranian Minister of Information and Communication Technology. He became as the 2011 and 2012 Outstanding Reviewer for the Journal of Transportation Engineering (JTE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), USA. One of his journal papers became as the 2011 Top Download Paper for JTE. One of his book chapters in the field of transportation has been chosen several times as the most viewed & downloaded chapter for InTech. He received the ICCTP2011 award for the 11th International Conference of Chinese Transportation Professionals (ICCTP2011), Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA), Southeast University, ASCE. He is an assistant chief editor and editorial board member for some journals. He has been a reviewer for the majority of journals in the field of transportation, including JTE (about 40 papers), Journal of Vehicle System Dynamics, Proceedings of the ICE – Transport, International Journal of Intelligent Transportation and Urban Planning (ITUP), etc. He has been a reviewer for some books, including CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group. He has been a reviewer for the majority of conferences in the field of transportation. He has cooperated with the hundreds international conference as the chairman, keynote speaker, the chair of session, the publication chair, the member of committees, including scientific, organizing, steering, advisory, technical program, etc. He is also a member in several international committees.
