Scope

Development and implementation of informatics solutions would benefit from studying the sociotechnical aspects of healthcare and public health from the lens of Implementation Science. This includes the use of formative and summative evaluation of healthcare and public health informatics applications, tools, and relevant healthcare interoperability standards. To provide a platform for dissemination of this innovative work we request submissions that describe the identification, description, or evaluation of socio-technical factors or organizational attributes related to the following topics:

• Design and implementation of healthcare and public health applications
• Development, implementation, or evaluation of interoperability standards in clinical decision support systems, various modules of electronic health records, and other health information systems
• Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications in medical and public health applications
