Senthilkumar Mouleeswaran

Dr.M.Senthil kumar is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India. He obtained his B.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994, M.E. in Engineering Design in 1996 and Ph.D. in Active Suspension System in 2008 from Anna University, Chennai. He has about 14 years of teaching experience and 1 year of industrial experience. He has authored 30 International and National journal papers and about 40 conference papers. He has received Dr.Sundramoorthy award for outstanding academic in PSG College of Technology in 2011. He has received ISTE award for “Best Research in the field of Machine design and Vibration by Young Teacher in 2006”. He has also received AICTE Career Award for Vibration Control by Particle Damping in 2009. His biography has been included in “Who’s Who in Science and Engineering in the World 2008 & 2010”. He has received many sponsored projects worth more than Rs.50 Lakhs from DRDO and AICTE in the fields of Composites and Vibration. He has completed two sponsored projects on Composite Leaf Springs and Propeller Shafts for Automotive Applications and Active Suspension System for Light Passenger Vehicles. Currently he has been the Principal Investigator of two projects in the areas of Vibration Control using Smart Structures. He has been actively involved in consultancy works in the areas of design and vibration control for leading industries in and around Coimbatore. He has conducted refresher courses for many leading industries. He is currently writing two books, one on Vibration engineering and another book on Composites. He has visited many countries around the world such as Portugal, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Australia and Singapore for joint research works. His fields of interest include vibration control, composites, smart structures, machine vision, etc.
