Dr. Victor V. Chaban is chairman of the Department of Biomedical Science Education and Professor of Medicine with dual appointments at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science (CDU), California, USA, and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Chaban completed his post-doctoral training in neuroscience at UCLA and graduate studies in clinical research at CDU. He is serving at the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) and several international study sections and holds US patents. Dr. Chaban is editor-in-chief for the International Journal of Research in Nursing and a member of several journal editorial boards. He is an author/editor of five books.
