Went to medical school in India. After postgraduate training in Pediatrics for 2 years in India, went to United Kingdom and trained in neonatology, pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. Became a member of Royal College of Physicians of London. In United States, training consisted of pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. Additional fellowship training included pediatric interventional cardiac catheterization. Has special interest in cardiac catheterization for congenital heart diseases in children and adults and in pediatric cardiac intensive care.
