S. Saravanan
Dr. Saravanan is a Senior Executive in Semiconductor and Photovoltaics Field. He studied Physics and received a doctorate in materials science from Cochin University of Science and Technology. He was a post-doctoral fellow in the Indian Institute of Science and University of New South Whales @ Australian Defence force Academy. His work experience includes both Industry and academia. Qualified, experienced and target-oriented manager in Silicon Solar Cell Manufacturing, Process, Quality & Technology, Excels in achieving targets and key improvements to drive business growth and efficiency, Good in cost saving initiatives without compremising the quality, Dedicated and Innovative team leader with interpersonal skills, time management and problem-solving skills, Certified Lean Six Sigma Advanced Green Belt, Certified IMS Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. Published around 40 journal papers/book chapters and 66 conference presentations/invited lectures & Training. Volunteer as board member for several scientific and research committees in public and private organizations, Technical Speaker, His technical expertise includes silicon photovoltaics, organic semiconductors, thin films and nano materials. Currently he is Assistant General Manager - Manufacturing Process, EMMVEE, Bangalore, India.
