Arthur Nonomura
Arthur Nonomura, Research Associate, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego. Dr. Nonomura has ongoing botanical investigations with his fine friend and colleague, Professor Emeritus Andrew A. Benson. Together, they have been adding to first order discoveries of how carbon in a leaf courses its way through to foods, fibers, pharmaceuticals, and biofuels in the series, \The Path of Carbon in Photosynthesis.\ Recent issues XXVIII and XXX have been published by InTech. Previously, Nonomura served at Harvard University; The Dow Chemical Company; University of California San Francisco; Hokkaido University; and The New York Academy of Sciences. Nonomura received his masters and doctorate degrees from the Department of Botany, University of California, Berkeley. Honors include induction into the Hall of Merit of George Washington High School; and \Brilliant Peace\ was a winner in the 50th Anniversary Celebration competition celebrating the founding of UCSD.
