Sharangouda Patil
Dr. Sharangouda J. Patil was born and brought up in a farming community. Due to his strong will and aspiration for teaching and research, he overcame several limitations to develop himself as an eminent researcher and teacher. He has successfully guided various projects for Masters and Ph.D. students. Currently he is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Zoology, NMKRV College for Women 3rd Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore-560011, Karnataka, INDIA. During his academic career, he has published more than 70 research articles, 10 edited books, 15 book chapters, 5 technical bulletins and several other technical articles in national and international journals. He has participated in and presented research papers in more than 100 conferences and has been awarded many best paper awards. Dr. Patil is also working as an Editor in Chief, Editorial Board Member, Advisory Editorial Member and a Reviewer to more than 40 journals. His efforts as a teacher and researcher have proved him a man of diverse skills, who aspires to set up an academic culture and educational program conducive to student learning and progress.
