Joseph Abraham Levi
Dr. Joseph Abraham Levi 雷祖善博士 holds a Ph.D. in Romance Philology/Linguistics (Portuguese, Italian, and Medieval Spanish) from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. His over two hundred publications, research, and academic interests cover: African, Islamic, Italian, Lusophone, and Sephardic studies. He has taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the University of Georgia, the University of Iowa, Rhode Island College, the University of Hong Kong, and the Universidade de São José in Macau. Since fall 2010, he is affiliated with the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he is a Visiting Scholar in residence. As of March 2023, he is also Collegiate Visiting Scholar in Residence at the Moon Chun College, University of Macau.
