University of Exeter United Kingdom

Monica F. Craciun received the MSc in Physics from Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble (France) and the MSc in Applied Physics from the University of Bucharest (Romania) in 2001. She also obtained the MSc in Materials Engineering in 2004 from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). In 2006, she received her PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Delft (The Netherlands). During her PhD she demonstrated that the electronic properties of Metal-Phthalocyanines and Pentacene can be tuned through intercalation of alkali atoms. From 2006 to 2007, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Twente (The Netherlands). She joined the University of Tokyo in 2007 as a fellow of the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science. Since January 2010 she is Lecturer in the Centre for Graphene Science at the University of Exeter (UK). Her current research interests include electronic transport in graphene and organic materials.
