Ahmad Kahwaji

Ahmad Kahwaji is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management. Ahmad had a Ph.D. from Brescia University (Italy) in 2002. He conducted his Thesis in the field of Strategic Management, especially “Mergers and Acquisitions”. The Thesis’s title was {Mergers and Acquisitions inside the fortress Europe: The Telecommunications Industry toward the third Millennium}. Ahmad began his career as Strategic Consultant in the Ministry of Industry in Syria. He worked as a DEO of the European Union Unit in the Private Sector Department at the Ministry of Industry (Syria), before involving in the Business Administration Department at the College of Economy in Aleppo University (Syria). His work in the Ministry of Industry led him to be a Strategic Consultant in the UNIDO Projects, especially for the project of Developing the Textile Private Companies in Syria (I am up Syria Project). Ahmad has developed a good experience while working in the Ministry of Industry by helping the SEBC (Syrian European Business Center) and ISMF. A part of his immense practical experience gained from his work in Industry, he began in 2006 as a junior teacher in Aleppo University. During 2006 – 2010 he worked for many Private Universities as a Part Time Professor, and was the Keynote Professor in the SVU (Syrian Virtual University). He supervised about hundreds of Masters’ Thesis and had many Meetings and Academic Conferences inside Syria and Abroad, especially (Italy, Malta, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Etc.). During his task as a Vice Dean of HIAD (Higher Institute of Administrative Development – Damascus University) between 2011- 2015, He was also a member of Scientific and Administrative Council of the University of Damascus. Between 2015 -2021 Ahmad has assigned as academic teacher as assistant professor of strategic management at the Department of Management at Dhofar University – Salalah – Oman. In September 2021 he has designed from Dhoar University and transferred to Germany, and He is looking for a job as associate professor of strategic management not only in Germany but in European Universities too.
