Jibran Khaliq
Dr. Jibran Khaliq is a senior lecturer in the Mechanical and Construction Engineering Department, Northumbria University (NU), Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. He is an expert in Polymers, Composites, and Functional Materials for Energy Harvesting Applications. Dr. Khaliq has a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the Queen Mary University of London, UK, and research training from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. He also has extensive experience in intellectual property development and the commercialization of innovative technologies. He holds 4 international patents. Dr. Khaliq has an extensive income generation which amounts to ~ 1.2MUS$ to work on Functional Materials. To date, he has two book chapters, more than thirty peer-reviewed journal papers, and more than 10 conference papers. He is an editor of Polymers Journal and Advisory Board Member of Journal of Engineering Structures & Materials. He is also a member of many professional organizations, including the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Minings, Pakistan Engineering Council, Higher Education Academy.
