Presently working as Technical Officer in CSIR-IMMT, a national laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of science and technology, Government of India. [20th April 2009 onwards]. Worked as Technical Officer in CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur, a national laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of science and technology, Government of India. [30th October, 2000 to 19th April, 2009]. Also worked as GIS professional in AABSYS IT, Bhubaneswar for a German based project using Microstation software. [August 1998 to October 1998]. • The undersigned is having experience in the field of application of remote sensing and GIS for various environmental studies. • The experience is related to monitoring and analysis of the spatial effects of environmental assessment at the landscape scale as well as geological applications in different environment such as coastal, watersheds, mining, forests etc., mapping through GIS and spatial statistics, the evident spatial patterns and to understand the resulting change in physical process and visualizing environmental monitoring data. • The working knowledge is related to workmanship in Geographic Information System and Digital Image Processing, geostatistics, Modeling using GIS (Application of fuzzy logic, multi index overlay analysis). • The exposure to Global Positioning System in acquisition of Ground Truth samples and collection of ground control points in geocoding of the satellite imageries towards fulfillment of Remote Sensing studies and experience of working in processing of geological/geochemical data using Global Positioning System through GIS.
