Firas Alali
Dr. Firas Alali gained his master’s degree from the Department of Veterinary Parasitology at Baghdad University, Iraq, and his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Selcuk University, Turkey. He has worked in the Department of Veterinary Parasitology at Kerbala University, Iraq, for 10 years, including a year as a vice dean at the College of Veterinary Medicine. He researches in the fields of parasitology, entomology and vector-borne diseases, including zoonoses, with a focus on protozoology, ectoparasites, and the effect of zoonoses on different hosts. He has been a member of the Iraqi Veterinary Syndicate since 2004.
