Surendra N. Kulshreshtha

Surendra N. Kulshreshtha is currently a professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon. He received his PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Manitoba. He was a visiting scientist at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis at Laxenburg, Austria. He has also participated in several oversees projects in Indonesia, Zambia, and India through the Canadian International Development Agency. His past research has been in the areas of commodity markets, econometric models, economic impact analysis models, greenhouse gas emissions, climate change, and impacts on agriculture, including extreme events (droughts) in the Canadian Prairie Provinces. Based on his contributions, in 2004 the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society selected him as a Fellow of the Society.
