Ali Borzabadi-Farahani

Dr. Farahani, a distinguished alumnus of the USC Craniofacial and Special Care Orthodontic Fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, holds an MScD in Orthodontics from Cardiff University (2005) and a Master of Surgery in Minimally Invasive Aesthetics from UCL (2022), in addition to being conferred the membership diploma in Orthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. With a keen focus on implantology, he augmented his expertise at the USC School of Dentistry, securing a Certificate in Implantology. Noteworthy accolades include a Research Scholarship from the European Orthodontic Society and a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, alongside nominations for the esteemed William JB Houston Research Award in 2009 and 2010. Dr. Farahani's prolific scholarly output comprises over 80 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, showcased in reputable dental and orthodontic journals. He contributes significantly to academia as a reviewer for prominent publications like Angle Orthodontists, AJODO, Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal, European Journal of Orthodontics, Journal of Oral Implantology, Lasers in Medical Science, and International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry, while also serving on the Editorial Board of Lasers in Medical Science and Dental Traumatology. Notably, his contributions have merited inclusion in the Stanford University Top 2% of World Scientists from 2021 to 2023.
