Burhanettin İmrak

Assoc. Prof. Burhanettin İMRAK is an academic staff member at the Çukurova University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, His research interests include sustainable farming, fruit growing, physiological studies, and fruit breeding, physiology of dormancy in temperate climate fruits, and the effects of climate change on fruit growing. He has made short- and long-term visits and training studies in many countries on these issues. Between 1999 and 2000, he attended a plant breeding course organized by CIHEM in Zaragoza, Spain. Dr. İmrak has written books and book chapters and published around 98 research articles. He has served as a referee for journals. He has participated in many international symposiums, several workshops, and national meetings. He has been working on EU Prima and Cost projects. Dr. İmrak is married and has two children.
