Zhen Gao
Zhen Gao is an assistant professor in the School of Engineering Practice and Technology (SEPT), McMaster University, Ontario, Canada, where he is the program lead of the MEng in Systems & Technology. He has published more than 100 papers in highly reputed journals and international conferences, one book, and four book chapters in areas of advanced automation and robotics, sensors and actuators, and artificial neural networks. Dr. Gao has been serving as the associate editor for the Conference Editorial Board of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. He is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Intelligent Machines and Robotics. His current research interests include advanced robotics, brain-computer interfacing, artificial intelligence/ deep learning, and their applications in manufacturing and healthcare.
