Manuel Granell Gil
Manuel Granell is Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia, and obtained his PhD at University of Valencia, both in Spain. He has over 28 years of professional experience, especially in thoracic surgery anesthesia, mechanical ventilation and difficult airway. He was Associate Professor at the University of Valencia for 19 years, Professor of Anesthesiology at the Valencia University since February 2021 and Chief section of anesthesiology General University Hospital in Valencia (Spain) since 2004. Currently, he is an active member of several scientific societies including ESA, EACTA and SEDAR, with a role of thoracic anesthesia representant of the EACTA and SEDAR. He also serves as a reviewer in a number of national and international scientific journals as REDAR, BMC Anesthesiology and the Journal of Anesthesia. Moreover, he was editor of two books about Thoracic anesthesia (Editorial Médica Panamericana 2018; Springer 2020).
