Anna Savitskaya

Dr. Anna Savitskaya, Ph.D., is a senior researcher at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Science, Moscow. Her research interests include microbiology, molecular genetics, the use of microorganisms as producers of target proteins, and analysis of intracellular protein interaction. She obtained a Ph.D. from Niigata University in 2012. Since 2008, she has been enrolled in a Ph.D. course at the Department of Chemical Technologies of Wood and Biotechnology, Siberian State University of Science and Technology. In the same year, she began working as a junior researcher at the biotechnology laboratory of the Krasnoyarsk Agriculture Research Institute. In 2011, Dr. Savitskaya completed an internship at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
