Prof. Salman Ahmad Khan was born in Uttar Pradesh, India, in 1981. He received his Master’s degree in Organic chemistry from the Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Uttar Pradesh, India, and his Ph.D. in 2007 from Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India. In 2007, he joined the Department of Chemistry, Punjabi University as a Research Associate. In the Department of Chemistry, Integral University, Lucknow-UP, he was working as an Assistant Professor in 2008. Prof. Salman A. Khan joined the Department of Chemistry, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2009 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to an Associate Professor in 2014. Recently he joined the School of Sciences, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) as a Professor. His current research interests include Heterocyclic Chemistry, Chromones, Chalcones, Anthraquinones, Cholesterol, Stigmasteroal, Photophysical, Physicochemical, Multi steps reactions, one pot multi component synthesis, Sensor and Nanotechnology. Dr. Salman is an active researcher and has supervised master and Ph. D thesis, and published more than 100 research articles in different reputed international journals.
