Jose M. Sojo’s career is quite multidisciplinary within the energy field. He holds a bachelor’s degree in energy engineering by the University of Málaga, where he specialized his studies in renewable energies. He also holds a master’s degree in nuclear engineering by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He has worked on air conditioning modelling first and mass transport simulations both for thermal and fusion energy. Since 2018 he has joined the Thermoelectric division of the Nanoionics and Fuel Cells research group at Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) in order to start his PhD in semiconductor nanostructures for thermal and thermoelectric applications.
