Dr. Amar Ibrahim Omer Yahia is an Assistant Professor of pathology at the College of Medicine, University of Bisha, Bisha, Saudi Arabia, and formerly an Assistant Professor of pathology at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Kordofan, Elobeid, Sudan. A specialist of Pathology, Haematopathology and Blood Bank at King Abdullah Hospital, Saudi Arabia. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Kordofan, where he received his MBBS degree. He received his MD degree in Clinical Pathology/Haematopathology and Blood Bank from the University of Khartoum, Sudan. Amar has published a number of articles in internationally recognised journals; he is a member of numerous scientific societies and editorial boards. His expertise includes Haematopathology/Blood bank, Problem-based learning (PBL) curriculum teaching experience, and Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
