Shampa Chakraborty
Dr. Shampa Chakraborty received her Bachelor degree in Chemistry honors in 2002 from Burdwan University, followed by Master degree and PhD Organic Chemistry (Supramolecular chemistry) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Howrah, India. Her areas of research interest include molecular recognition, supramolecular chemistry, organic synthesis and methodology. In 2014, She moved to Ohio State University, USA and worked in a project on supramolecular chemistry entitled “Synthesis of Molecular Baskets for Nerve Gas Agents.’ In between she also worked in TCG Life Sciences Ltd.(Chembiotek) situated at Salt lake city-Kolkata, as a Research Chemist. Later on she has been promoted for the post of Senior Research Chemist and Research Scientist. She has worked as a National Post Doctoral Fellow in CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) in Dr. Sadhana Rayalu’s Group in Environmental Materials Division. She was assistant professor at Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur for 2022-2023. Recently She is working as assistant professor in Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management.
