Dr. Roberto Júnio Pedroso Dias is Professor at Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil. Dr. Dias currently teaches the following classes: Principles of Systematic, Protozoa (free-living and parasites), Invertebrate Zoology, Ecotoxicology, and Modern tools for identifying biodiversity (integrative taxonomy). He has obtained his PhD at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2012), and worked for some months in the USA (Dr. John Clamp), and Italy (Dr. Giulio Petroni). His research interests involve ciliates diversity, phylogenetics and systematics, molecular evolution of ciliates, epibiotic associations and microbial ecology. He is a member of The International Society of Protistologists (ISOP) and the author of 54 research articles and 2 book chapters.
