Katarzyna Cesarz- Andraczke is an assistant professor in the Department of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology. The title of the doctoral dissertation defended with distinction was: "Resorbable magnesium alloys with the addition of biocompatible elements". The results of the doctoral dissertation have become material for: - publication of the above 10 scientific works, - patent obtained for the invention entitled: "Bioresorbable magnesium-based alloy with precious metal for medical implants" The head of the project published a series of publications on the study of the properties and structure of bulk and conventional Mg and Ca metallic glasses mainly. Articles included in the series have been published in renowned, selected scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science with impact factor. In the mentioned cycle direction of research are mainly biocompatible materials based on Mg and Ca. 2011-2016 - doctoral studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Silesian University of Technology, Institute of Engineering and Biomedical Materials. 12.2016-present - assistant professor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Silesian University of Technology, Department of Engineering and Biomedical Materials
