Abraham Loutridis

Abraham Loutridis was born in Larisa, Greece, in 1980. He received the BSc in Physics and the MSc in Electronics and Telecommunication Technology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2006 and 2010 respectively and the PhD in Antenna and Microwave Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Dublin, Ireland in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, he was a postdoctoral researcher under the funding of Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and CTVR - the Telecommunications Research Centre in Antenna and High Frequency Research Centre (AHFR) in Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) with main research interest in antenna miniaturization techniques for wireless technologies and the integration of antennas for M2M applications. From 2016 to 2019, he was working as a Senior Antenna Engineer in The Antenna Company, Eindhoven, The Netherlands and was responsible for the design and development of many antennas and MIMO systems integrated to WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Cellular and other wireless technologies. Currently, he is working as a RF System Engineer in ALPS ELECTRIC Europe GmbH, Munich, Germany. Dr. Loutridis has been an IEEE member since 2011 and he has published more than 15 scientific papers in international peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
