Mihai Comsit
Mihai Comşit is Associate Professor at the Transilvania University of Braşov (Romania), Faculty of Product Design and Environment. His teaching and research activity focus mainly on product design combining design, modeling, simulation, and optimization of mechanical systems expertise with artistic skills like drawing, painting, computer graphics, and computer-aided design, subjects that he also teaches at the university. His research interests include mechanical and mechatronic systems design in general, design of architecturally integrated solar energy conversion systems, and electric mobility. He is author of three patents and more than 50 papers in mainstream journals, international publishing houses, and international conference proceedings. He has also co-authored three books. He is the coordinator of the BlueStreamline Formula Student Racing Team of Transilvania University of Brasov achieving international prizes in this activity. He is also a founding member member of the ARoTMM, the Romanian branch of the International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM), and a reviewer for several journals.
