Dr. Elena Morosan is a pharmacist within the discipline of Clinical Laboratory and Food Hygiene, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila", Bucharest, Romania. Her didactic and scientific interest in the last 20 years involved many scientific, didactic, professional and administrative activities that took place within the academic and pharmaceutical community. Thus, by participating in various events, she has built her representative professional and personal profile. She has authored or co-authored 10 books. In 2006 she defended her doctoral thesis titled "Influence of some antioxidants of vegetal origin on biochemical parameters". Within her didactic activity, vocational training was one of the main concerns on the multidisciplinary educational path. She continuously updated her professional training with courses in different fields of interest: nutrition, dietetics, clinical laboratory, pharmaceutical technology, pharmacovigilance. Having a particular interest in this subject, she lately co-authored a new book on Nutrition and Dietotherapy that is a course material for students, residents and master students. She lately graduated the second cycle of Master program "Nutrition and Food Safety". The passion and interest in the field of nutrition and dietetics has been one of its main concerns, elaborating many scientific papers in this area.
