Yanfei (Jacob) Qi
Dr Yanfei (Jacob) Qi was trained with lipid metabolism and signalling in his PhD at The University of Sydney and the following Postdoctoral research at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Since 2017, he is heading the Lipid Cell Biology Laboratory at the Centenary Institute, Australia. Dr Qi's current research is focused on the lipid metabolic causes of chronic human diseases, including diabetes, fatty liver, cancer and atherosclerosis. His research is regarded and well funded. Dr Qi is currently also the Vice-President of Australian Association of Chinese Biomedical Scientists and Adjunct Professor at Dalian Minzu University, China.
