Dr. Emmanuel Esosa Imarhiagbe is an academic staff of the Department of Environmental Management and Toxicology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. Dr. Emmanuel Esosa Imarhiagbe is the current Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences. He has his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental and Public Health Microbiology. Dr. E. E. Imarhiagbe is a teacher and a researcher with the focus on aspects of applied and environmental microbiology, especially with regards to the application of microbial diversity in bioremediation/ biodegradation of organic contaminants and petroleum exploration/production, water, and wastewater qualities, and microbial risk assessment. He has supervised several undergraduates and postgraduates students. Presently, he has over twenty-four journal articles and a number of conference papers to his credit. Dr. E. E. Imarhiagbe possesses management skills in general laboratory and logistics management, project planning and research supervision, data handling and reporting and ability to interact with people from different backgrounds. Dr. Emmanuel Esosa Imarhiagbe is an active-proud member of Applied Environmental Biosciences and Public Health Research Group, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He is also a member of the Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) and a research fellow of the INSA-JRD TATA fellowship (awarded by Indian National Science Academy) Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee.
