Om Prakash Sharma
Dr. Om Prakash Sharma is presently a Staff Orthopedic Surgeon at Essentia Health-St Mary Detroit Lakes, Minnesota USA with a vast experience in the field. After obtaining his medical degree, he obtained further experience as in orthopedic surgery and internal medicine at MGIMS, Sevagram, India, did an orthopedic residency at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur University, India; pediatric orthopedic clinical fellowship at Sick Kids, Toronto; orthopedic residency at University of Toronto, Toronto, Canda; lower limb reconstruction (arthroplasty) fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada. Dr. Sharma is in possession of numerous international certifications in the field, has attended numerous international conferences and symposiums and authored many international publications. He is a member of Pediatric Society of North America (POSNA), American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Canadian Medical Association, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Canadian Orthopedic Association and Ontario Medical Association. His field of interest includes: general orthopedic, hip and lower limb reconstruction, trauma, pediatric orthopedic.
